Contact Us

You can contact the Mental Health Advocacy Service (MHAS) office by phone or email.

MHAS staff will contact a Mental Health Advocate within 24 hours and arrange for an advocate to contact you. Mental Health Advocates do not work in the office but work with consumers in hospitals and in the community.

The MHAS office is open 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays) but you can leave a message on the answering machine and we will get back to you as soon as possible, even on weekends. The messages will be checked at least twice a day during weekends and public holidays.

When you call us we will need to know:

  • your name
  • contact number
  • date of birth and
  • where you are staying.
